Sell made-to-measure products online, without the quote ping-pong

Curtains, blinds, furniture, sheet material, textile: if your product is made to the customer's measurements, standard webshops give up. Customers have to email for a price, and half of them never do. I build made-to-measure sales flows on Shopify: the customer enters measurements, picks options, sees the price update live, and orders directly. My configurators run in production for made-to-measure shops in several industries today.

Sound familiar?

  • Every sale starts with a quote request and days of back-and-forth email
  • Shopify's variant model can't express your measurements and options
  • You tried configurator apps, but your pricing rules don't fit any of them
  • Competitors with an 'order now' button win the customer who wants it today

What you get

  • A configurator in your brand's style: measurements, options and steps, mobile-first
  • A price engine for your exact rules: per-cm pricing, tiers, price tables from CSV or Excel
  • Live price and preview that update while the customer configures
  • A real add-to-cart: products created via the Admin API, checkout and fulfillment untouched
  • An admin panel so you adjust prices and options yourself, no developer needed
  • A proven setup: running in production for multiple made-to-measure stores

Frequently asked questions

Can Shopify even handle made-to-measure products?+

Not out of the box: the variant model has hard limits and there's no such thing as price-per-centimeter. With a custom configurator it works fine: the price is calculated live outside the variant model, and the exact configured product is created at add-to-cart via the Admin API. Orders then flow through checkout and fulfillment like any other.

Which products does this work for?+

Anything with measurements or composable options: window coverings, curtains, furniture, sheet material, textile, framing, print work. The rule of thumb: if you can explain how the price is calculated, I can build it.

Our prices live in Excel sheets. Is that a problem?+

The opposite: it's the normal starting point. Price tables are imported into the price engine via CSV, and after that you manage them yourself in an admin panel. Several of my production configurators started from exactly such spreadsheets.
