Three webshops selling made-to-measure products, each with completely different measurement and pricing rules, needed real add-to-cart flows instead of quote requests. I built React configurators with CSV-driven price engines and a shared multi-store backend.

Business Central ↔ Shopify: B2B contract pricing on autopilot
A B2B store where every customer has negotiated contract prices living in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. I built the integration that keeps thousands of customer-specific prices correct in Shopify, automatically. And it runs entirely without Shopify Plus, on a plan that officially doesn't support per-customer pricing at all.

A manufacturer wanted to move from WooCommerce to Shopify, but their production-planning application, deeply wired into the WooCommerce API, could not be rebuilt. I designed a middleware that speaks WooCommerce to the factory and Shopify to the world.

It depends on pricing complexity, previews and admin needs. A focused configurator is typically a few weeks of work; multi-product or multi-store platforms take longer. You'll get a fixed, scoped quote before anything starts.

Almost certainly. If your system has any kind of API (modern REST, SOAP, or even CSV exports), I can build a reliable sync. I've connected Shopify to Microsoft Business Central, Lightspeed POS and several legacy systems.

Rule of thumb: visual and content changes → theme; new functionality for your store only → private app or theme customization; functionality tied to checkout/discounts → Shopify Functions. A good app-store app beats custom when it genuinely fits.
